Meher Ramesh is the director of the 2023 Indian Telugu-language action film Bhola Shankar. Chiranjeevi plays the title role in this version of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth. Bhola Shankar, which debuted on August 11, 2023, was poorly received by critics and did poorly at the cinema office, taking in just ₹42.25 crore from a ₹101 crore budget.
