Dasara, which translates to “Vijayadasami,” is a 2023 Telugu-language period action drama film produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and directed by Srikanth Odela. Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, P. Sai Kumar, and Shamna Kasim are among the ensemble cast members that star in it. Odela makes her directing debut in the movie, while Chacko makes his acting debut in Telugu cinema. The soundtrack and background score were written by Santhosh Narayanan, while Sathyan Sooryan and Naveen Nooli were responsible for the cinematography and editing.
The movie was revealed in October of 2021. March 2022 marked the start of principal photography, which ran through January 2023. The Singareni Coal Mines in Veerlapalli village, close to the Telangana cities of Godavarikhani and Ramagundam, provide the backdrop for the film.
