The 2023 Indian Tamil-language action heist film Thunivu (transl. Fortitude; also advertised as Thunivu – No Guts No Glory) is written and directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor under the banners of Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios. Ajith Kumar, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Ajay, and Veera are also in the movie. It centers on Dark Devil and his gang as they plot and carry out a bank heist to recover the money that the corporate has embezzled from the public. Ajith’s 61st leading part in a film, the movie was first formally announced in February 2022 under the working title AK61. The official title was revealed in September 2022. Along with a schedule in Chennai, principal photography began in Hyderabad in April 2022. This was followed by late-November 2022. The film has music composed by Ghibran, cinematography handled by Nirav Shah and Vijay Velukutty. Thunivu was released theatrically in the week of Pongal on 11 January 2023. It received mixed reviews from critics.
