G2 is an action spy thriller film that is set to release in Telugu. It is the directorial debut of Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. Reuniting with Banita Sandhu, Adivi Sesh plays the same character in the Goodachari sequel. Adivi Sesh made the official announcement of the project in December 2018, but the sequel was delayed because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The filming started on December 11 and is expected to be released in 2024. The second installment of the Goodachari series is called G2. It tells the tale of a spy sent outside of India on a mission to defend his nation.

On his birthday in December 2018, Adivi Sesh first revealed that Rahul Pakala would be directing the Goodachari 2 movie. In The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the release of the sequel, but in April 2020, Sesh revealed he was penning the script for Goodachari 2. In Sesh revealed in June 2022 that he was still working on the script and that the sequel would carry over from the first chapter.
On December 29, 2022, Sesh made the official announcement of the sequel, G2, which Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi would now be directing. Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad are the film’s producers. Abhishek Agarwal Arts released the first glimpse of G2, indicating that the movie is a pan-Indian production, in January 2023. In April 2020, Adivi Sesh, who is also the film’s screenwriter, provided updates on the script’s development. In November 2023, Banita Sandhu became a part of the cast. In February 2024, Emraan Hashmi was revealed as a cast member in a major role while filming was in progress.
The movie, which is scheduled for release worldwide, will include a lavish five-story glass set built just for filming in Hyderabad. There will be filming in India.
